March 8th is the International Women’s Day. In this regard Ahmadiyya Muslim Women Association (AMWA) has hosted various information events across the country. On March 8th 2020, AMWA Prairies Region organized various booths at Morniville Library. This was the first ever AMWA event in the town of Morinville, AB.

Morinville is located within the Edmonton, AB Metropolitan Region, approximately 34 kilometers north of the City along Highway 2. With population around 10, 000, multiculturalism is perhaps just in the beginning.
The booths included introduction to Islam display, Trivia: answer a question about Islam and win a prize, Try a Hijab Demo, Henna Booth and Multiculturalism.
More than two dozen people visited stalls.

Dr Fozia Zakaria (Regional President), Samina Mian (President Edmonton West), Naeema Mubashar, Rashida Mirza, Sidra Ahmad, Nudrat Mansoor, Bushra Siddiqa, Amtul Rafiq Tariq and Nasreen volunteered their time and skills to make these booths a success!
