Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosque in Wolverhampton welcomes Councillors & MP for the orange campaign

On the 14th of November 2019, the Ahmadiyya Mosque Wolverhampton opened its doors once again to the community for the orange campaign.

This campaign stands for supporting women’s rights and prevention of domestic abuse, what best place to raise awareness than a mosque, for it was Islam that empowered women in Arabia centuries ago, by the grace of Allah we were joined by multiple councillors and a member of parliament in making ribbons.

Alhumdollilah, there was a collective effort from Lajna, Ansar and Khuddam on the day, since prevention of abuse against women is all of our job regardless of gender, colour or a particular faith group.

The councillors were extremely appreciative that the Ahmadi Muslims would stand shoulder to shoulder to prevent and act upon domestic violence or abuse.
