Sajid Javid today joined the Tory leadership battle – the ninth MP to declare they are running – warning that the party ‘must deliver Brexit’.
The Home Secretary declared that he wants Theresa May’s job as the contest crunched into top gear after the Conservatives’ dire EU election results.
In a video message posted on Twitter, Mr Javid said he would ‘restore trust, bring unity and create new opportunities.
