You would think and expect educational institutions to be at least aware of the offence they are committing against humanity by even inquiring about an applicant’s ethnicity but everything is in fashion in USA. This is why I love Islam, because when you stand in Congressional prayer no one is above another regardless of your social standing, colour of your skin, your background, height, built or your riches. You stand shoulder to shoulder and become a testimony that all are created equal by God and worship God instead of the worldly possessions, power, politics or social circles.
