A priest and rabbi stood on a beach for a “party interrupted by a wedding.” A chuppah shaded the bride and groom. The groom put on one shoe for the Jewish tradition of stomping on glass before guests enjoyed margaritas and community.
That is how Randy and Terri Udelman describe their wedding 16 years later.
“Our wedding ceremony itself, is kind of symbolic of how we incorporated each other’s traditions,” Randy said, sitting near the fireplace in his Scottsdale home decorated for Christmas.
Randy is Jewish. Terri is Catholic.
