A fire broke out In a building belonging to the Ahmadiyya Community in Frankfurt’s Nieder-Eschbach. Thick smoke came our of the cellar of the building. Neighbors were brought to safety.
Shortly after 7 am Wednesday morning emergency calls were received by the emergency services. Callers informed of smoke out of a building belonging to the Ahmadiyya Community in the Frankfurt part of the town called Nieder-Eschbach. According to the police the fire broke out in the cellar. Files and carton boxes burned and partly also the cables of the house. Smoke went throughout the whole building.
From a neighboring building 35 persons were evacuated as a precaution. Nobody was hurt. The fire could be brought under control quickly. It is not yet clear how much damage was caused. Also it is not yet known what caused the fire. The police is investigating in all directions.
