UK: PAAMA North Region holds 1st Tabligh Event launching their Outreach Peace Awareness Campaign

On 3rd Sept 2017 the Paama North Region held their 1st ever tabligh event as part of the national paama Launch of outreach peace awareness campaign and actions against Hatred, Radicalisation and Extremism under the supervision of Vice President Mr Ahmed Owusu sahab, and Mr Jamil Mwanje sahab national assistant President Paama UK.

The event started with recitation of Holy Quran by Dr Omar Sanda sahab followed up by English rendering by Mr Ahmed Mamman.

Welcome address by regional President Mr Ahmed Asiedu sahab followed up by introduction of Islam Ahmadiyya (Video).

Mr Kui Man Gerry Yeung was the guest of honour and High Sheriff of Greater Manchester. He launched the event with group photo comprising Paama members and guests as a mark of respect to stand united against hatred radicalisation and extremism.

This was followed up by the presentation, Launch of outreach peace Awareness Campaign and actions and hatred and radicalisation by Toby Ephram who outlined the objectives and aims for this campaign drive is to celebrate culture, diversity and unity.

Mr Kui Man Gerry Yeung addressed the audience and in his address said “Before coming to this event, I looked up at your website and I saw your mission statement is about uniting communities I was impressed by that he said”

After High Sheriff remarks Mr Ahmed Owusu sahab vice national President Paama UK addressed to audience.

That was followed up by question and answer session from the audience chaired by Mr Muhammad Khurishid ,Regional Missionary North West Region.

The event ended with silent prayers and complimentary lunch.
