A viral video of a Turkish TV correspondent’s romantic public marriage proposal inside the Grand Mosque of Makkah has left social media users desperate to fing out if she actually said yes.
She did!
Yusuf Akion, a correspondent and anchor at the government-run TRT space channel, recently fulfilled an old wish of his future wife who wanted him to present to her a wedding ring while kneeling in front of the Holy Kaaba inside the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
She even made him film the happiest event of their lifetime.
He gave the ring to his finance right in front of the Holy Kaaba and caught the moment live on the social media.
“Here I am in front of the Holy Kaaba. Here are also our blessed mothers. I am a little bit ashamed, but I thought I was doing something good,” said Akion while grinning from ear to ear.
The couple’s video went viral on the Internet but they had to delete it after a rough criticism on their action.
