The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Australia topped the cleanup leader board on the Clean Up Australia website.
The streets of Castle Hill will be a lot cleaner, thanks to Clean Up Australia Day leaders, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Association NSW spokesman Naveed Ahmed said there were nine sites, including Castle HIll and Blacktown, across the state on Clean Up Australia Day and the outcome of the day was “fantastic.”
“A total of 26 sites were registered across Australia by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Australia,” Mr Naveed said.
“In NSW almost 413 people participated in the clean up activity across the nine sites and collected around 140 rubbish bags which weigh approximately 140 kilograms,” Mr Ahmed said.
