Tawheed (Islamic monotheism) is the greatest foundation of Islamic belief.
In fact, a person is considered as Muslim if he/she accepts that there is no god worthy of worship but Allah and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His slave and His messenger to humankind.

Kaaba: The very first house of God in Mecca
Almighty Allah says in the Noble Qur’an: “Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of (all) existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is (presently) before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.” (Qur’an, 2:255)
In these marvelous verses, Allah describes Himself as the only one — most powerful, ever-living Lord of us. Tawheed is the bedrock of Islam and it states that it is Allah Who has created the universe with whatever is in it and administers it.
What we deduce from the operation of the universe and call ‘natural laws’ are, in fact, Allah’s regular ways of creating things and events and administering the universe.
According to Islam, all religions revealed to the prophets (may Allah exalt their mention) have the same essence and knowledge of Tawheed and unity of Allah; but, with the time, their messages were misinterpreted, mixed with superstition, and degenerated into some rituals.
That was the same message with which Adam was sent down to earth, the same knowledge that Allah revealed to Nuh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses) and Isa (Jesus), may Allah exalt their mention, and the last Prophet sent to humanity, Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Islam rejects characterizing Allah in any human form or depicting Him as favoring certain individuals or nations on the basis of wealth, power or race.
However, our human minds are often in search of understanding the concept of Allah in materialistic ways, although we are not capable to completely comprehend this concept. When Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) contemporaries asked him about God, Allah revealed the chapter of Ikhlas (Qur’anic chapter no. 112), which is considered as the motto of Tawheed, saying: “Say (O Muhammad), “He is Allah, (who is) One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor was He begotten. Nor is there to Him any equivalent.” (Qur’an, 112:1-4)
The Creator must be a different nature from the things created, because if He is of the same nature as they are, He will be temporal and will, therefore, need a maker. If the maker is not temporal, He must be eternal. But if He is eternal, He cannot be caused. If nothing apart from Him causes Him to continue to exist, He must be self-sufficient and self-subsistent.
If He does not depend upon anything for the continuance of His own existence, this existence can have no end. The Creator is therefore Eternal and Everlasting. Allah Says (what means): “He is the first and the last.” (Qur’an, 57:3)
The Creator does not create only in the sense of bringing things into being, in other words, He is not only a Starter, He also preserves everything, takes them out of the existence, and is the ultimate cause of whatever happens to them.
Ali Ibn Abu Talib, the fourth Muslim Caliph (may Allah bless him), is reported to have said: “He is being but not through the phenomenon of coming into being. He exists but not from non-existence. He is with everything but not physical nearness. He is different from everything but not by physical separation. He acts but without the accompaniment of movements and instruments. He is the One, only such that there is none with whom He keeps company or whom He misses in his absence.”
In Islam, Allah is known by His names and attributions and the manifestation of these names in the universe.
Another aspect of Tawheed in Islam is that it implies the equity and unity of all people in their relation with Allah. Thus, people of different social strata were not created by separate deities with varying levels of power, since this would violate Tawheed by putting barriers between them. Instead, social dimension of Tawheed states that the same Allah created everyone, and so all people have the same fundamental essence. In fact, the noblest person in Allah’s sight is the one who is most Allah-conscious.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Your Lord is One. You are from Adam and Adam was created from dust. An Arab is not superior to a non-Arab, nor a white person over a black person, except for his/her piety and righteousness.” (Ahmad)

As always with religion we are here presented with a set of groundless assertions. For example, when talking of Allah/God as the uncaused cause of all things, as existing outside time and space etc, the article presents nothing but a set of groundless metaphysical assertions. I can sit here and say, actually God is a singularity, the point at which time/space breaks down into the infinity of a single boundless point etc etc, but how can I prove any of these assertions? I can’t. Where is the concrete evidence for any of these theological speculations? There isn’t any.
Dear @ philipvat—

God exist in our body. He always watch us, He knows everything people does

QS.57: 4-6. He is the One who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then He positioned Himself on the Throne. He knows whatever goes into the earth and whatever comes out from it, and whatever descends from the sky, and whatever ascends thereto. He is with you wherever you are, and Allah is watchful of whatever you do. (4) To Him belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and to Allah all matters are returned. (5) He makes the night enter into the day, and makes the day enter into the night, and He is All-Knowing about whatever lies in the hearts.
After that at length you will die. Again, on the Day of Judgment, will ye be raised up. (16) And We have made, above you seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (Our) Creation. QS 23; 15-17.
They will say, “Our Lord, You gave us death twice and You gave us life twice. Now we confess our sins. So, is there any way to come out of here?” QS 40:11.

Happy New year, I wish you a blessed 2016.
Dear @ philipvat—
Then God commanded His creation (human bein ) to worship Him.
He said: “O my people! worship Allah: ye have no other God but Him. It is He Who hath produced you from the earth and settled you therein: then ask forgiveness of Him, and turn to Him (in repentance): for my Lord is (always) near, ready to answer.” (61) QS.11:61)
Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god; Who knows (all things) both secret and open; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.QS 59:711.
He is Allah, besides whom there is no god, the Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is All-Merciful, Very-Merciful. (22) He is Allah, besides whom there is no god, the Sovereign, the Supreme-In-Holiness, the Safe (from all defects), the Giver-Of-Peace, the Guardian, the All-Mighty, the All-Repairer, the Sublime. Pure is Allah from what they associate with Him. (23) He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Shaper. 10 His are the Most Beautiful Names. His purity is proclaimed by all that is in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. QS 59;22-24.
God is the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious, the Most Powerful, the all Provider, the Greatest Creator, the Most Sustainer, the all Knower, the All Seer of His slave(children), Owner of Power, the Most Strong, All-Forgiving, the Most Compassionate, and the Owner of the Day of Resurrection. God is Swift in account, Well-acquainted with what you do.
OUR SOUL.
And they ask you about the soul. Say, “The soul is something from the command of my Lord, and you are not given from the knowledge but a little.” QS 17:85.
Verily the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah (alone). It is He Who sends down rain and He Who knows what is in the wombs. Nor does anyone know what it is that he will earn on the tomorrow; nor does anyone know in what land he is to die. Verily with Allah is full knowledge and He is acquainted (with all things).QS 31:34
Allah fully takes away the souls (of the people) at the time of their death, and (of) those who do not die, in their sleep. Then He withholds those on whom He had decreed death, and sends others back, up to an appointed term. Surely, in this, there are signs for a people who ponder. QS 39:42.
He will say, “You (roh) did not stay but for a little. Would that you had understood (this at that time)! QS 23:114.
Remind them of) the day when Allah’s enemies will be mustered towards the Fire. So they will be kept under control, (19) Until when they will come to it, their ears and their eyes and their skins will testify against them about what they used to do. (20) And they will say to their skins, “Why did you testify against us?” They (the skins) will say, “We were made to speak by Allah, the One who has made every thing to speak.” And He had created you the first time, and to Him you are going to be returned. (21) And you had not been hiding your selves (when committing sins) from your ears and your eyes and your skins that would bear witness against you, but you thought that Allah did not know much of what you did. QS 41:19-22.
Who is more unjust than the one who fabricates a lie against Allah or says, “Revelation has been sent to me”, whereas no revelation has been sent to him, and the one who says, “I would produce the like of what Allah has revealed.” If only you could witness when the unjust are in the throes of death, and the angels stretch their hands (and say), “Out with your souls. Today, you shall have your punishment, a punishment of humiliation, because you have been saying about Allah what is not true, and have been showing arrogance against His verses.” QS 6:93.
Every one (roh) has to taste death, and We test you through bad and good (situations) with a trial, and to Us you are to be returned. QS 21:35.
And by the soul, and the One who made it well,Then inspired it with its (instincts of) evil and piety, Success is really attained by him who purifies it (soul), (9) And failure is really suffered by him who pollutes it. QS 91: 8-10.
As for an obedient man, it will be said to him,) “O content soul, (27) Come back to your Lord, well-pleased, well-pleasing. 6 (28) So, enter among My (special) servants, (29) And enter My Paradise.” QS 89: 27-30.
As to the Righteous(Holy Roh) (they will be) in a position of Security (51) Among Gardens and Springs; (52) Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; (53) Moreover, We shall Join them to Companions with beautiful, big and lustrous eyes. (54) There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; (55) Nor will they there taste Death, except the first Death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire― (56) As a Bounty from thy Lord! That will be the supreme achievement! QS 44: 51-57.
To the righteous (holy Roh ) it is said “What is it that your Lord has revealed?” they say “All that is good.” To those who do good, there is good in this world, and the Home of the Hereafter is even better. And excellent indeed is the Home of the righteous― (30) Gardens of Eternity which they will enter: beneath them flow (pleasant) rivers: they will have therein all that they wish: thus doth Allah reward the righteous― QS 16:30-31.
Except to him who will come to Allah with a sound heart, (89) And the Paradise will be brought near to the God-fearing QS 26;(90)
Dear @ philipvat—That is all that I can convey Allah’s words to you. may Allah give you blessing Amen.
With Allah’s wills you can believe in HIM.
With all my love
