The faith-based community has begun to organize vigils and memorials for the victims of the San Bernardino shooting in which 14 people were killed and 17 wounded Wednesday, Dec. 2.
Crossover Outreach Church, which held a vigil Wednesday night near Orange Show Road and Waterman Avenue, is planning a second vigil/memorial at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at the same site.
At 6 p.m. Thursday, a prayer vigil is planned at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 785 N. Arrowhead Ave., San Bernardino.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA is planning a prayer vigil at San Bernardino County’s Baitul Hameed Mosque, 11941 Ramona Ave., in Chino. The vigil will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday.
