547. Commandment – Take your precautions; then either go forth in separate parties or go forth all together
[4:72] O ye who believe! take your precautions; then either go forth in separate parties or go forth all together.
[34:12] Saying, ‘Make thou full-length coats of mail, and make the rings of a proper measure. And do righteous deeds, surely I see all that you do.’
[21:81] And We taught him the making of coats of mail for you, that they might protect you form each other’s violence. Will you then be thankful?
[8:61] And make ready for them whatever you can of armed force and of mounted pickets at the frontier, whereby you may frighten the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you know not, but Allah knows them. And whatever you spend in the way of Allah, it shall be repaid to you in full and you shall not be wronged.

These ‘commandments’ are forwarded to me by the kind courtesy of Amjad Tariq of Sydney. We convey to him our gratitude. (Any shortcomings in postings to The Muslim Times will be my own…)
