Mr. Netanyahu, back off, don’t you mess with America!
Time to stop Netanyahu from lying to America, blocking his speech to the unofficial joint session of the US Congress
By Mike Ghouse
Lessons in Foreign policy: Mr. Netanyahu and his ilk can fool us in America once, but not twice, and we are not the guinea pigs of his erratic genocidal behavior.
He is coming to Washington to convince the nincompoops who had plunged us into destructive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to go at Iran now. We lost over 5000 men and women, millions of Americans lost their jobs, and their homes were foreclosed besides sinking us into budget deficit running in $Trillions of Dollars. He wants us to be completely liquidated, to hell with him. We put America first!
On March 3, 2015, we will witness an unprecedented line of boot-licking Republicans ready to surrender and kiss his feet. Shame on them, they are an embarrassment to America. Fox News will put him on pedestal as they do not have legitimate journalist to grill the man who wants us liquidated with another war.
America is not ready for Mr. Netanyahu’s bull about Iran, he needs to respectfully back off and become a peace maker. He can choose to believe in the wisdom of Torah, that saving a life is like saving the whole humanity.
What is the difference between the sadistic eagerness to bomb Iran and Hamas’ pleasure in sending the rockets into Israel? One wants mass genocide and the other wants deaths of families one at a time. America is not ready to give him the pleasures of destruction with no gain to be had by the people of Israel and most certainly Americans, and we have no criminal intent to bomb another people, we still carry the guilt of massacring the innocent Iraqis and Afghans and we have not apologized to them yet.
“Mr. Netanyahu, if you threaten others, you are equally apprehensive of your vulnerabilities. Don’t expect others to lie down and beg for mercy, get this, you put yourselves in your own peril, and they will make your life miserable even if they are weak. You come and go, but the long term security of the people of Israel should not be compromised with your short-sightedness”
American foreign policy will not be the same, despite the racist attitudes of a few in the Congress and Senate, they will still see the wisdom in President Obama’s genuine foreign policy ushering into an era of dialogue rather than conflict.
Netanyahu has made several mistakes; had President Obama listened to him and not told Mubarak to step down, the Egyptians would have become Anti-American like the Iranians did in 1979. And now Sisi is messing it up, oppression never works and I hope the Egyptians don’t take their ire on American policies. We cannot support tyrants and lose out with people.
Netanyahu does not understand that the peace treaty is between the people of Egypt and Israel and not between Begin and Sadat, the representatives come and go but the people and their relationships stay. Thanks to Obama, today the security between Israel and Egypt has remained intact.
THE MORAL PRESIDENT
President Obama’s words and actions represent what is a moral and astute foreign policy, and it is good for the long term security of people of Israel and good for the people of Iran and the United States of America.
Ten years ago, Colin Powell made his Iraq presentation at the United Nations, Jonathan Schwarz writes in Huffington post on Feb 5, 2015, “… there’s no question that Powell was consciously lying: he fabricated “evidence” and ignored repeated warnings that what he was saying was false.” He may have been made to lie by the same men that Netanyahu is aligned with.
We respectfully request Mr. Netanyahu to cancel the trip and retain that little respect he may have with a minority of Israelis who voted him. He does not have the mandate of the people Israel even though he is the Prime Minister.
Let’s put our biases aside, and examine President Obama’s effort to avoid war and find a solution to the nuclear negotiations with Iran.
Back in 1979, President Carter could not help Iran make a transition to democracy when Shah was about to go, he was trapped in the history of Nixonian foreign policy of full support for the Shah. Had he succeeded in convincing the Iranians that he was different and did not want to bring the Shah back (as the U.S. did by subverting the 1953 Iranian revolution), the US- Iran relationship would have been very different.
Shah with the US support was planning a nuclear Iran. After the revolution Iranians shelved the program. But with continued animosity they resurrected the program, and according to them supposedly for peaceful purposes.
Mirza A Beg, my fellow director at World Muslim Congress adds, “We cannot take them at their word. No country has kept its word in the pursuit of power. We have seen such assurances forgotten before as in the case of India and Pakistan. Israel has an arsenal of about 200 nuclear weapons by the best estimates of most knowledgeable agencies. Former Prime Minister of Israel even admitted it at an unguarded moment.
NETANYAHU IS WRONG
We cannot and should not go to war with Iran simply because Mr. Netanyahu wants. We made a mistake once and we cannot do it again based on falsities.
“Israeli people are our friends, we have supported them all along, even when their leaders did not live by the promises they made. Mr. Netanyahu is trying to goad the US in to war with Iran. It will be disastrous for all concerned, particularly the US. He is violating all norms of diplomacy and outrageously interfering in American nation’s dialogue that is for Americans to have without interference from a foreign power, especially whom we have supported through thick and thin.” Mirza A. Beg.
With great care, President Obama in conjunction with our European friends and allies, and Russia has brought Iranians along to the possible resolution to every one’s satisfaction. A very strict regimen of inspection to make sure that Iran abides by these treaty obligations.
Mr. Netanyahu has not only injured the credibility of his office that is deleterious to Israel, but has aggravated the community of nations and will continue to Isolate Israel. 161 out of 166 UN member Nations do not trust him and his policies by voting against some of the resolutions against Israel or have abstained.
Let Obama negotiate the treaty and reduce one less enemy for Israel, and one more member of the Nuclear treaty to abide by, and let’s hope Israel also signs the Nuclear treaty as most other nations have done. Let the average American benefit from Obama’s sane policies.
President Obama is guiding the US policies through very difficult time with care, patience and resolve. The congress needs to understand it and stop bickering when it comes to the US foreign policy and national well being.
