Dayton —
The community is invited to attend the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Dayton’s Eid-ul-Adha celebration.
This free event will be held 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5, at the Fazle-e-Umar Mosque, 637 Randoph St., according to Abdul Shahid, spokesman for the AMCD.
Eid-ul-Adha is an islamic holiday that highlights the sacrifice of Abraham and marks the close of the Hajj pilgrimage to the Holy Ka’aba in Mecca, according to Shahid.
Event highlights include Bar-B-Q, pony rides, inflatables and crafts.
