MTA is a satellite TV network, runs and funded by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. MTA International was created byMirza Tahir Ahmad, the fourth Khalifa of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, on 1 January, 1994 and ever since its inception MTA has been a unique channel in many respects. 

What first steps in human history would one have chosen to witness, if one could travel in time. Allah could see far into the future and realize that we would experience a time of global family when words of leadership could reach Africa, Asia, America and the Islands of the Caribbean, as well as five Continents. It is in this day and age, and especially for the younger generation, these are the tools of Qur’an and by Allah’s Grace Radio, Television, Satellite, Internet, and this MTA system we have here, the Holy Qur’an is reaching all of us by God’s Grace and we should take advantage of these devices. The blessing of these devices and these technologies can bring the Qur’an into our lives. Its like a light, it’s the most beautiful bright white light that one could ever imagine. MTA is privileged under the direct guidance and supervision of Khalifa-tul-Messih, of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at. You can imagine that back 1400 years ago the Holy Prophet had told out of one of these gadgets and technologies that one day every single word of issue will be contained in this human voice and the message would travel far and wide throughout the world. Imagine if those in the past could ever see one of these gadgets, they would have been shocked that a stone and piece of metal could speak and convey the words of God. Thus, as we look at all these machines, gadgets, inventions and technologies now a days, it seems like a miracle. They are not created just for communication or education, but also stimulate to the human mind. The purpose was to enable the beautiful message of the Holy Qur’an to reach every single habitation, every single home, every single human in this day and age which is what God has promised and in what a glorious manner this has been fulfilled.
