Krishna Janmashtami @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krishna_Janmashtami
Krishna Janmashtami (Devanagari कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी kṛṣṇa janmāṣṭami), also known as Krishnashtami, Saatam Aatham, Gokulashtami, Ashtami Rohini, Srikrishna Jayanti, Sree Jayanti or sometimes merely as Janmashtami, is an annual commemoration of the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu.[1]
The festival is celebrated on the eighth day (Ashtami) day of the dark fortnight of the month of Shrāvaṇa (August–September) in the Hindu calendar.
Rasa lila, dramatic enactments of the life of Krishna, are a special feature in regions of Mathura and Vrindavan, and regions following Vaishnavism in Manipur.[2] While the Rasa lila re-creates the flirtatious aspects of Krishna’s youthful days, the Dahi Handi celebrate God’s playful and mischievous side, where teams of young men form human pyramids to reach a high-hanging pot of butter and break it.

A bit of biography:
As portrayed in his authentic biographies, Krishna (pbuh) is known to have been born on earth around 1458 BC, to Vasudeva and his wife Devaki and was named Kanhaiyya (Kinhai / Kinai).
The name “Krishna” was given to him later, meaning “the enlightened one”.

Again, a little bit of future to come:
Bit more of information never goes a miss, does it?!
Muslims believe in Prophet Krishna (as) too:
After the doctrine of the absolute Unity of God, perhaps the most important assertion made in the Holy Qur’an is that God has always been revealing His will to mankind through His prophets and messengers. Belief in all prophets, therefore, is a fundamental article of faith in Islam.
As said in the Qur’an at Ch3.V85, if a Muslim claims to obey Allah, he is duty bound to believe in all the prophets (1, 24,000 in total), to the extent that at another place, Allah the Almighty states that He has sent prophets to all the nations as a means to reform people, some of whom Allah has named in the Qur’an.
Not only have the prophets of the East are mentioned, but a great Messenger of God who appeared in India was also mentioned with love by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) to his companions. He said:
‘There was a Prophet in India; his color was dark and his name was Kahin’ (Tarikh Hadan, Dilmi, Bab-ul-kaf).
The reference here is to prophet Krishna (peace be upon him) who is also called Kanhaiyya or Krishna the dark-skinned one, pronounced Kahin in Arabic.
So, all religions truly revealed by God to His Messengers are fully respected in Islam. Thus, Islam has laid the foundation for peace, harmony and reconciliation by making all the founders of religions worthy of respect.

Return of Krishn (pbuh)
Well people, as we all know that almost all the major world religions (faiths) attach a significance to this age in terms of advent of a final messiah: A messiah, a new world reformer who would destroy evil and unite the world in matters of faith.
This Promised Messiah is to come as: The Imam Mahdi for Muslims, Messiah Jesus(as) for Christians / Jews, Maitrey Buddha (as) for Buddhists, Return of Krishna (as) for Hindus, and well… etc.
Check this: The Concept of Awaited Messiah in World Faiths @ http://www.reviewofreligions.org/date/2001/01/
A portion from it:
Hindus expect the reappearance of their Lord Krishna (as) at the time of the Kali Yuga / Kalyug. They believe when the world is in darkness, Krishna (as) will return in judgment in the form of a new avatar.
Bhagavad Gita Chapter 4 verse 7-8 which says:
“Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya;
Glanir Bhavati Bharata;
Abhyutthanam Dharmasya;
Tadatmanam Srjamy Aham.”
Which means:
Whenever there is a decay of righteousness, O Bharata,
And a rise of unrighteousness, then I manifest Myself;
.. to protect of the good, and to destroy the wicked
and to establish righteousness, I manifest myself in every age.
(Bhagavad Gita 4:7-8)

Jai Shree Krishna!

Thank you very much.It is really a wonder, an organisation which advocates the supramacy of the Arabian Religion and culture recognises Sri krishna of Bharat to be a Prophet of God-Allah.You may devote some pages of your e-magazine to slogans /anecedotes of men of great of Krishna religion to the knowledge of Ahamathi Muslims. Please note of great words of Swami Vivekananda – Every religion has produced men and women of most exalted qualites- this utterrance produces sense of respect and honour on one’s mind about other religions – so it promotes communal harmony. If one believes Ahamathiya Muslim religion alone is true He would naturally hate men of other religions that will result in human right abuses and social disharmony.
I am happy now an Ahmadi Muslims would recognise a HINDU not as a Kafir But as a follower of prophet Krishna. Thank you thank you ….. very much. I am so happy.
With regards to ” the Rasa lila re-creates the flirtatious aspects of Krishna’s youthful days,”
I would like to state that that rasaleela is totally false.krishna is known to be Brahmachari/ men of chastity in his youth. In Literary spirits the poets has depicted sri krishna as a flirtatious young man. These accounts are absolutly baseless, must be rejected.
Thanks Dr. Anburaj for your kind words.
With regards to Rasleela of Shree Krishna, I agree with you: It is false, baseless and so must be rejected for truth & purity to reign. slam and Hinduism: Spiritual Symbiosis – Part 2: Who is a Kafir in Islam; Are Hindus Kafir or Ahl-e-Kitab?
By Sultan Shahin, Editor, New Age Islam
10 August 2014
Like any other living Faith, controversies abound in Islam. One of the most controversial issues is the relationship of a Muslim with people belonging to other religions. Since in India Muslims have always lived next to a very large non-Muslim community, this issue has created even deeper controversies. While there are Muslims who would insist on treating Hindus as Kafir, there are others who would insist that they should actually be treated as Ahl-e-Kitab, people bearing revealed books, a people who have a special place in Islamic theology and practice.
Disregarding the advice of some ulema of his time, the first Arab to conquer parts of India, Sind and Multan, had made a good beginning, giving the Hindus the same status as Ahl-e-Kitab, people with whom Muslims are supposed to have good social relations including marital relations. Since then, the Hindu-Muslim interaction has taken place constantly in a variety of ways. This is not the place to go into history, but we are all aware of the differences of approach between say an Akbar or Dara Shikoh and an Aurangzeb.
The question of the place of Hindus in Islamic theology has, however, persisted. There are Muslims who have no reservations whatsoever in considering Hindus as Ahl-e-Kitab. In fact anyone with any sense and understanding of spiritualism would see at a mere glance that Hindu scriptures are divine in origin. The question whether Sri Krishna, for instance, is an Avatar of God or a messenger of God is merely an issue of semantics, though, of course, there are complex ideological debates over the issue. It is even possible that the author of Mahabharat Vyas Muni is himself a prophet who is using allegorical stories to drive home the message of God. The important thing is that the message is certainly Divine.
The Hindu scriptures are indeed our Adigranth. It is only reasonable to think that they must have undergone any number of changes, accretions, deductions, fabrications, etc. during the millennia that they have been guiding the spiritual growth of Indians, particularly as in pre-historic times the literature was transmitted to succeeding generations orally and even when later written in a variety of ways they couldn’t be preserved very well.
According to the Quran, not every disbeliever is a Kafir. Only those who are fanatic disbelievers, they are Kafir.
A peaceful person of any faith is not Kafir. A fanatic Muslim will fall in the category of Kafir.
I feel that I had sent a long post on this subject but it did not appear on TMT. I do not know if I have to rewrite all that again.
Sometimes when ‘cleaning’ the comments of junk Mail some genuine comments may be erased by mistake. Therefore yes pls Write Again.
Sorry, some how that comment must have been lost. Please do keep copies of your good work, as nothing works perfectly.
I try to keep three copies of my important work.

If you try to find a reference about what you wrote in above:
“….Krishna (pbuh) is known to have been born on earth around 1458 BC….”
you will have great difficulty. Instead, you will find dates in excess of 3000 BC.
Here is the good reference-link about 1500BC which is in conformity with “around 1458”

References about 3000+ BC are given too.
