RM .id   Rakyat Merdeka – Lajnah Imaillah Muslim Ahmadiyah Indonesia held a social service activity and cheap bazaar with the theme of Empowered, Creative, and Modest Women at the Baitul Afiyat Building, Kemang Parung, Sunday (8/3/2026).

Chairperson of Lajnah Imaillah Siti Aisyah Bakrie, said this activity was a form of social concern as well as an effort to strengthen relations with the surrounding community.

“This activity aims to strengthen Islamic brotherhood and establish closer relations between Lajnah Imaillah and the community around Baitul Afiyat,” said Siti.

He explained that in this activity, Lajnah Imaillah distributed various social assistance, such as assistance for orphans, distribution of free basic food packages for the elderly, widows, and the poor, as well as a program to redeem cheap basic food packages for the community.

Furthermore, the committee also held a bazaar of wearable clothing at very affordable prices, ranging from Rp1,000 to Rp15,000. Some of the clothing was even distributed free of charge to those in need.

Siti also stated that the event featured various educational and entertaining activities for children. One of them was a collage competition for preschool children, with around 40 participants.

“The atmosphere was even more lively with the storytelling performance delivered using puppets, which attracted the attention of the children in attendance,” he said.

On the other hand, the MSME bazaar also played a key role in this event. Various businesses showcased a wide range of products, from culinary and fashion to services.

“The bazaar was well-received by MSMEs. One participant said the event was a good opportunity to introduce their products to a wider audience,” he said.

During the bazaar, Siti said, the committee also held two inspirational talk show sessions. The first session was titled “Inspiring Women: Young, Creative, Empowered, and Humble.” The speakers shared their experiences on their journeys to building businesses and achieving success.

This session encouraged participants to start a business without hesitation and to continue working. Meanwhile, the second talk show session, presented by Siti, focused on “Healthy Communication in the Family.”

In this session, the importance of building good communication between parents and children, both girls and boys, was discussed as a foundation for forming a harmonious family.

In addition to social and educational activities, the committee also provided free health checks for the community. A total of 117 participants received health checks, which included blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid levels. The committee also provided homeopathic remedies for those in need.

Through these community service activities and bazaars, Lajnah Imaillah Indonesia hopes to continue providing benefits to the community. Furthermore, these activities are expected to encourage women to become empowered, productive, and modest individuals in their social lives.
