The Indonesian Ahmadiyya Muslim Community held a public discussion and book launch entitled ” Ahmadiyah Muslims and Indonesia: 100 Years of Religiousness and Humanitarian Work ,” on January 20, 2026, at Wisma Rahmat Ali, Jl. Balikpapan I number 10, Central Jakarta.
The public discussion featured speakers including Prof. Ismatu Ropi (Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), Reverend Gomar Gultom (interfaith figure), and Mila Nuzakkar (Young Diversity Activist). Hery Heryanto, a young NU intellectual, provided the commentary. The discussion was moderated by Dedy Ibmar, a researcher and editor.
The event was attended by Zaki Firdaus, the National Amir of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, and Maulana Ma’sum Ahmad, the Raist of the Tabligh Ahmadiyya Community. Also in attendance were Lukman Hakim Syaefuddin, former Minister of Religious Affairs, academics, interfaith figures, and Ahmadiyya sympathizers.
The event was also broadcast online via the Warta Ahmadiyah YouTube channel .
