Harmoninews.com (Central Jakarta) — The atmosphere at the Al-Hidayah Mosque on Jl. Balikpapan I No. 10, Petojo Utara, Sunday (12/7/2025), was filled with religious nuances and full of solemnity. Hundreds of congregants from various areas of DKI Jakarta attended the series of Jalsah Salanah of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation in 2025, which this year entered its third day and was the peak of the event. Around 600 participants attended the activity held by the Central Jakarta DPD of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation as part of the tasyakur commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Muslim Congregation.
Carrying the theme “Radiating an Islam Full of Love and Peace,” the event proceeded in an orderly manner and with a spirit of brotherhood. Several prominent figures were present to share messages and wisdom, including Eka Taher, Chairman of the Jakarta Provincial Government, Aryudi Muhammad, Chairman of the Central Jakarta Mosque, as well as religious scholars and preachers such as Mln. Lutfi Julian, Mln. Arif Afandi, Mln. Tata Rosada, and several other spiritual leaders.
The event began at 8:15 a.m. WIB with the recitation of the Quran along with translations and Nazm verses in Urdu. The religious atmosphere intensified as the leaders took turns conveying messages of peace, tolerance, and unity until 10:00 a.m. WIB. The event continued with the awarding of competition prizes, followed by a speech renewing the pledge of allegiance (Baiat) by the National Amir of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community.
As noon approached, the congregation performed the Dzuhur prayer combined with Asr prayer, followed by a break and lunch. The entire event proceeded safely and orderly, with no security disturbances or protests from local residents since the first day.
Security for the activity was carried out by seven joint personnel, consisting of the Petojo Utara Bhabinkamtibmas, the Police Intelligence Unit, and the Sector Police Intelligence Unit, who ensured that the entire series ran smoothly.
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Susatyo Purnomo Condro, expressed his appreciation for the peaceful activities and the mutual respect shown by residents. He emphasized that the presence of the National Police at every community event demonstrates their commitment to maintaining safe, peaceful, and tolerant worship spaces.
“We appreciate all parties who played a role in maintaining peace during this series of Jalsa Salana events. Tolerance is Central Jakarta’s strength, and the National Police will continue to ensure that every citizen can safely perform their religious duties,” he said in a message to his staff.
The third day of the Jalsah Salanah activities took place conducively and marked the conclusion of the series of events that have been running since December 5, 2025. Police activities will continue to monitor until all participants leave the location.
