Kuningan – Tens of thousands of Ahmadiyya Muslims from all over Indonesia attended the 2025 Jalsa Salana, held simultaneously over three days, from Friday, December 5th to Sunday, December 7th. According to a press release issued by the 2025 Jalsa Salana Indonesia, the Jalsa Salana, held in 23 locations across Indonesia, was attended by 20,030 Ahmadi Muslim participants and hundreds of non-Ahmadi guests, including government officials, security personnel, academics, intellectuals, community leaders, and non-Ahmadi friends from various religions and organizations. The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Indonesia, Zaki Firdaus Syahid S.T., M.T., began his remarks by expressing his deep condolences for the disasters that have occurred in various regions of Sumatra and inviting all members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Indonesia to participate in providing donations and tangible support for the disaster victims.
This call aligns with the swift action taken by Humanity First Indonesia, the social organization wing of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, with emergency aid in the form of food packages, ready-to-eat meals, and basic necessities, as well as initial donations, in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. "This Jalsa Salana was held simultaneously throughout Indonesia. One location in West Sumatra was postponed out of respect for the disaster victims. All food supplies for the West Sumatra Jalsa event were donated to the affected community as a form of empathy and concern for the victims," explained Zaki Firdaus. The presence of non-Ahmadiyya guests and friends illustrates the open attitude of Ahmadiyya Muslims and the impact of the good social relations they have established with officials, civil servants, community leaders, and the surrounding community, working together to build society and strengthen national unity as a shared responsibility as citizens. "We express our special appreciation and gratitude to the ranks of the National Police Headquarters, the Regional Police, the Sector Police, regional heads, district heads, sub-district heads, and all regional officials who have carried out the constitutional mandate as their responsibility well, thus ensuring that the rights of Ahmadiyah Muslims as citizens are fulfilled, and that they are guaranteed the right to assemble and worship as stipulated in the laws and regulations," he said.
