TEMPO Interactive , Jakarta – Hundreds of people from dozens of elements of community organizations and non-governmental organizations that are members of the Network of Women and Human Rights Activists for Justice will hold a solidarity action for the attack on the Ahmadiyah congregation in Cikeusik, Monday (7/2) at 12.00 WIB. The action that will last until 13.00 WIB will be held in front of the Presidential Palace peacefully.

“We will wear black costumes as a sign of mourning for the Ahmadiyah incident yesterday,” said Action Coordinator Tunggal Pawestri when contacted by Tempo, Monday (7/2) morning.

In the peaceful action, the masses demanded that the government take responsibility for the incident. They also condemned and rejected violence in the name of religion. The incident has claimed the lives of three Ahmadiyah members. “SBY (the President) must be responsible, because he failed to protect his citizens,” said Tunggal.

It is possible, according to Tunggal, that the masses who take part in the action will be more than 500 people. This is because information about the action has spread widely through social networks Facebook and Twitter. “I cannot control how many people take part,” said Tunggal.
