Semarang, iNewsSoloraya.id – The beauty of brotherhood amidst differences is seen in the MosqueAhmadiyya CommunitySemarang, namely the Nusrat Jahan Mosque on West Erlangga Street, Semarang City.
On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 2025, the leader of the Catholic community, namelyArchbishop of SemarangBishop Robertus Rubiyatmoko Pr visited the mosque. He and a number of diocesan administrators came to visit.
They came to say “Happy Eid”. The closeness of this brotherhood is getting warmer by eating chicken opor together.
Mgr Rubi, as the Bishop is familiarly called, said that his party was happy on the day of victory. Because, his party could socialize with Muslims.
“This is a joy because it is a gathering that brings us closer to each other. Eid al-Fitr is a beautiful moment that friendship does not see differences, but seeks togetherness that can unite,” said Bishop Rubi.
He hopes that this visit can be well received by the Ahmadiyah community. So that it can be an example of friendship for other communities.
“We hope that brotherhood with Ahmadiyah can inspire others to be friends in differences,” he said.
Ahmadiyah Central Java missionary, Syaifulloh, said he was happy and grateful for the friendly visit. He said the Bishop had visited for Eid al-Fitr for three consecutive years.
“Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to visit here. This is a blessing from God, we are happy for the visit of the Catholic community,” he said.
“God willing, we will visit at Easter, just like at Christmas we visited the Bishop,” he emphasized.
