The Indonesian Ahmadiyah Congregation (JAI) has canceled its national-level annual meeting or jalsah salanah in Manislor Village, Jalaksana District, Kuningan Regency , West Java, Friday (6/12/2024).
Buldan Burhanuddin, Ahmadiyah National RTN Team, said they were forced to cancel the activity because they felt pressured by many parties.

The event was canceled at 2.30 am,” said Buldan in Manislor Village, Friday afternoon.

He said that JAI residents have been preparing for this activity since three months ago. A total of 2,012 residents will also attend the event as evidenced by signing a letter.
The letter has been sent to the Acting Regent of Kuningan and the police, but has not yielded any results. Buldan said that every citizen has the same rights.
Including Ahmadiyah, an official organization that has a legal entity and has been registered in the country since 1953. Ahmadiyah has not been disbanded to date and Ahmadiyah has the same rights as other organizations. The Joint Decree (SKB), said Buldan, does not prohibit Ahmadiyah activities.

They said this was non-negotiable, this was final. There was no negotiation, in the end it was cancelled,” said Buldan.
Previously reported, the Kuningan Regency Government banned the annual JAI meeting on the pretext of maintaining order in Kuningan.
