This is where it’s said that in 1917 the Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children and revealed three secretes to them. Not only that, but Fátima is also the spot where a crowd witnessed the “Miracle of the Sun,” attributed to the Virgin Mary, who then became known as Our Lady of Fátima.
