BHARATANEWS.ID | BOGOR CITY – The controversy surrounding the Ahmadiyah sect in Bogor City is still in the spotlight. Even though it has been banned, the Ahmadiyah sect’s efforts to spread the word are still strong. In fact, it is suspected that he succeeded in inciting one of the residents of Bogor City in the West region. This caused anger among society. Even though conditions are still conducive, this matter continues to the city level. One of the resident representatives hopes that adherents of this teaching will be expelled because they are considered disturbing.
“Conditions are conducive, but I hope they will be expelled because it is disturbing, and the latest information has been submitted to the city level.” Said Ustadz (Ust) Cilik, one of the Hegarmanah residents, to the Bharata News media crew .
In his statement, the Spiritual and Youth Section of RT 03 Hegarmanah, Ustadz Ismatullah revealed that previously, they had lived side by side peacefully for 20 years. However, the situation changed when one of his friends converted to the Ahmadiyya sect, which he said required him to spread these teachings.
“Actually, 20 years is already comfortable. We are here side by side. However, what worries me is why I brought up this initial case of a child’s complaint. Well, coincidentally my friend too. It was up to me to ask his father to return to the right path. and I investigated it and it turned out that it was true, I confirmed it with the family, including the party. Regarding that, his father and it turned out to be valid, he admitted it and he had taken allegiance. What I was worried about was that Andi’s confession contained the sentence, after he entered Ahmadiyah, he was obliged to tabligh it. “That’s what I’m underlining. I’m after Mas Andi, please don’t be tabligh.” Be clear.
From this incident, local residents came together to agree and then made two decisions, namely:
“First, if they want to stay in Hegarmanah, please leave Ahmadiyah. Second, if they still want to adhere to Ahmadiyah, please leave Hegarmanah. Those are the only two options available.” Said firmly Ust. Ismatullah.
Meanwhile, the Chair of the Bogor City NU PC, Edi Nurochman, appealed to residents to exercise restraint and entrust the resolution of this problem to the competent authorities.
“I urge residents to exercise restraint. This is the domain of legal arbiters, so we fellow citizens cannot evict each other,” he added on Wednesday (02/05/2024).
Furthermore, the Chair of the NU PC said that so far NU had called on administrators in the area to always coordinate with local environmental administrators.
“Yes, we have called our local administrators. We have asked them to coordinate with the environmental administrators,” he explained.
Not only that, Edi appealed to the Police to be more proactive in intervening as soon as possible so that people do not have to take the law into their own hands.
“It would be better if we were more proactive, intervened as soon as possible so that people don’t have to take the law into their own hands,” he concluded
Separately, the Chair of the Religious Diversity Forum (FKUB), Hasbullah, also stated efforts to maintain conduciveness in the region.
“We have encouraged the first thing, the sub-district as the local government, to continue monitoring the conduciveness in this location,” he said.
“We want the community and government to also prioritize so that there are no victims from this conflict. That’s the first, second thing we ask for. In relation to dialogue and communication established by the government and community leaders, it is carried out equally and equitably. “This means that there should be no coercion of the will of one party to another,” concluded Hasbullah.
