RIYADH: Thousands of Muslims broke their fast on the first day of Ramadan at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah and the Grand Mosque in Makkah on Monday.
Visitors gathered around the mosque’s vast grounds to eat Iftar.
Crowds of worshipers also performed Tarawih prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque.
