Alton, IDN Times – The Hadeeqatul-Mahdi neighborhood in Alton, UK is again hosting the annual meeting of the Ahmadiyya International community, called Jalsa Salana 2023.”This is not an ordinary meeting. This is a religious forum to increase piety, love for Allah SWT and the Prophet SAW. So pray a lot and follow all activities well,” said Ahmadiyya International Leader, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, also called Khalifatul V in his opening speech.

Jalsa Salana 2023 will be held for three days from July 28-30, 2023.The organizers claimed the event was attended by 40 thousand people. A record, due to the spirit of meeting after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The delegation of Jama’at Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI) was led by the Amir or their national leader, Maulana Mirajudin Sahid, Shd.JAI also invited guests from Indonesia including Former Minister of Religious Affairs Lukman Hakim Saifuddin, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) researcher Ahmad Burhani, Chairman of the Nadhlatul Ulama Executive Board Alissa Wahid and women’s activist Musdah Mulia.After the series of events, the Indonesian delegation was received by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad in a special tent where he received guests. Mirza Masroor asked about the condition of the Ahmadiyya Community in Indonesia.
