“The sequence is the same as Muslims in general, prayer, then the sermon, then gatherings among members, and continuing with the slaughter of the sacrificial animal,” said Abdul Hafidz. However, according to him, as long as it is sealed by the Depok City government, the Al Hidayah Mosque can be used to carry out prayers at the mosque again for the last two years.

“After two years, we can still pray, but I don’t think it’s too comfortable because the seal is still there. But this is in accordance with its function, the mosque is for prayer,” said Abdul Hafidz. But according to him, the mosque is not only for worship and prayer, but the embryo of civilization is actually in the mosque. To build togetherness, harmony, tolerance of all in the mosque.

“So Alhamdulillah, at the Al Hidayah Mosque, JAI Depok, we have prayed Eid twice, including mothers and children, who can enjoy it, where previously for 12 years we prayed in the yard, on the badminton court,” said Abdul Hafidz. .

He said that as residents of Depok City, they have the same rights, as citizens of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, they should have the same rights and responsibilities, so his party asked that there be no discrimination or persecution for Depok City residents.

“What we want is the same, no more persecution and discrimination, not only for JAI, but for all those who claim to be residents of the city of Depok, no acts of intolerance, and hopefully there will be no more in the city of Depok,” said Abdul Hafidz.
