We have been informed by City of Airdrie that April 29, 2023 has been declared as the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association day. This is to mark the centenary jubilee of the establishment of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association and the interfaith symposium that was held in celebration which focused on women’s empowerment through faith. At their meeting on May 15, 2023, Council made a motion to proclaim April 29, 2023 as Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association Day in Airdrie.  The proclamation was advertised in the City Connections page in the May 18,2023 edition of the City View paper and on the Proclamations page on the City website.
