The Government Will Seal the Construction of Ahmadiyya Worship Facilities in Parakansalak Sukabumi
TatarSukabumi.ID – The coordination meeting of the Honorary Board for Oversight of Beliefs (Bakor Pakem) involving all Forkopimda elements was held at the Sukabumi District Hall Building.
This time the Coordination Meeting produced a number of important points regarding the discussion of the activities of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation (JAI) in the Parakansalak District area.
Chairman of the Sukabumi Regency DPRD, Yudha Sukmagara, after the Bakor Pakem coordination meeting told TatarSukabumi.ID, the government agreed to stop the construction of Ahmadiyya worship facilities in Parakansalak.
Not only freezing the construction of worship facilities, Yudha ensured that the Government banned all activities to spread the Ahmadiyya sect in Sukabumi Regency.
“To not carry out the construction of places of worship, the second is not to carry out the propagation of religion which is considered prohibited in accordance with existing regulations,” said Yudha Sukmagara, Thursday (02/02).

The Chairperson of the Sukabumi District DPRD added that the agreement reached by the Sukabumi Regency Forkopimda was based on a joint decision letter from 3 Ministries which clearly stipulated Ahmadiyah as a prohibited sect in Indonesia.
As soon as possible, said Yudha, all development activities carried out by JAI in Parakansalak will be sealed.
“The Prosecutor’s Office will seal the location in the same way. Then it will be followed by a letter which will be physically delivered tomorrow as soon as possible to the chairman of the JAI,” explained Yudha.

Even though he gave a ban on all activities of the Ahmadiyya Congregation, Yudha ensured that the Government would embrace the community to return to embracing a religion that is not against the constitution.
“The Ahmadiyya congregation is also a member of Sukabumi, so we agree that what is prohibited is not the people but what is prohibited is their teachings,” he stated.(*)
