Jakarta, CNN Indonesia -- The Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community (JAI) said the acts of intolerance that occurred in Balai Harapan, Temunak, Sintang, West Kalimantan had spread to other areas. The head of the JAI Legal Committee, Fitria Sumarni, said that her party received information on the rejection letter against the Ahmadiyya Community in Toho District, Mempawah, West Kalimantan.
The act of intolerance towards the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Balai Harapan has now spread to other areas," Fitri said in a virtual press conference, Friday (28/1). The refusal was conveyed in a letter signed by the Toho District Leadership Communication Forum, including the sub-district head, police chief, Danramil, Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), to the local KUA. Fitria said that her party hopes that the case of intolerance against the Ahmadiyah Congregation in West Kalimantan will not spread. Because, it will threaten the human rights of Ahmadiyah followers.
