Erfstadt is a town located about 20 km south-west of Cologne in the Rhein-Erft-District in the state of North Rhein Westphalia Germany. The name of the town derives from the river which flows through it, the Erft. During the recent floods due to the torrential rains, the river banks could not sustain the water pressure and the town was badly damaged due to flooding.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat alongwith Humanity First Germany reached to almost 41 cities and towns which were affected due to flooding. Ahmadiyya Murabbiyan (Missionaries) trained in Germany also traveled to the disaster area of the town Erfstadt to lend a helping hand. They did it exactly in accordance with the teachings of Islam that one should serve the humanity in times of need and disaster.
A group of above 20 Murabbis reached the town on 29.07.2021. Spent the whole day clearing the dirt and slums from the public streets, basements and first floors of private houses. Also participated in preparation, packing and distribution of food to needy people.
