I spent days to think about a comment to support this fundraising initiative organised by Hala Jaber and Rana Jaber.

I believe the follow says all. This is Lebanon:

🇱🇧 4 languages are spoken in Lebanon: Arabic, French ,English and Armenian
🇱🇧 Literacy level is 99%
🇱🇧 It has 42 universities.
🇱🇧 There is one doctor for every 10 people.
🇱🇧 The name of Lebanon appears 75 times in the Old Testament.
🇱🇧 The name of Cedar also appears 75 times in the Old Testament
🇱🇧 Beirut has been destroyed and rebuilt 7 times
🇱🇧 There are approximately 3.5 million Lebanese in Lebanon.
🇱🇧 There are approximately 14 million Lebanese outside of Lebanon.
🇱🇧 The country has been occupied by more than 16 countries (Egypt-Hittites-Assyrians-Babylonians– Alexander’s army-The Byzantine Roman empire- The Arabian peninsula-The Crusaders-The Otomies-France-Israel and Syria)
🇱🇧 Byblos, city in Lebanon, is the oldest city in the world that still exists.

🇱🇧 The Phoenicians, too, came to America long before Columbus. (A Phoenician ship was found in Brazil)
🇱🇧 The world’s first law school was built in downtown Beirut.
🇱🇧 Lebanese cedars are said to have been planted by the hands of God , which is why they are called the cedars of God and Lebanon the city of God on earth …
🇱🇧 Today … Lebanon … suffers from Covid, suffers with the crisis, suffers from the war and above all … suffers from the explosion that devastated a large number of human beings in the territory of Beirut. Lebanon we pray for you!🇱🇧🙏🏻
