Dr Syed Basharat Shah being presented Award of Honour
“Dr. Syed Basharat Ahmad Shah was honored with the prestigious AWARD OF HONOR by the Indian Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Research (IAAVR) during the Inaugural Session of the 19th Indian Veterinary Congress on February 1, 2019 at the West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences, Kolkata, India, in recognition of outstanding academic achievements and research contributions in the field of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.
The award was presented by a galaxy of Honorable Vice Chancellors of Indian Universities and other important dignitaries on the dais in a glittering function. This type of recognition from the prime national and internationally affiliated institutions incorporating scientists from more than 100 Universities is a matter of prestige in the scientific world.
Dr. Syed has already several national and international awards and recognition’s to his credit. He has presented his scientific work at different conferences in USA, Canada, U.K, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, China, South Africa, Netherlands, Austria, Spain, France, Croatia, Serbia, Middle East, Thailand, Singapore, India and Pakistan, besides having the honor of being the life member of more than 22 international scientific and civic organizations. He is presently based at Bonn, Germany working as Senior Corporate Scientist for an Austrian company besides being Honorary Judge in the German Judicial System.
Dr. Syed belongs to a respectable Ahmadi Muslim family of Kashmir. His grandfather Hazrat Syed Saifullah Shah Sahib (ra) was the companion of Promised Messiah (as). His father Syed Muhammad Shah Saifi a teacher, famous Ahmadi poet and a literary figure was a highly respected personality of Kashmir.”
