Dr. Fred Mednick, the Founder of Teachers Without Borders, has received this year’s Ahmadiyya Muslim Prize for the Advancement of Peace at the 16th National Peace Symposium of the Ahmadiyya Community, held in London.
The Award is in recognition of his efforts to provide unfettered access to education to some of the most neglected parts of the world.
He took home a trophy, a certificate and an undisclosed amount of money.
The National Peace Symposium was outdoored in 2009 by the Ahmadiyya Community to honour individuals, who have demonstrated a strong commitment to peace and development in various parts of the world…. read more at Ghana News Agency
