Muslims love Jesus. So why does everyone think we hate Christmas?

While most British Muslims might be indifferent to the celebrations underway this season, perhaps we can play a small part in reviving the generosity, kindness and true Christmas spirit associated with the holiday

It’s Christmas time and so it hasn’t taken long for a national newspaper to run a feature implying British Muslims are poorly integrated for “refusing to celebrate a Christian holiday”. The irony of this pernicious Islamophobia, feebly hiding behind the banner of defending the Judeo-Christian values of our country, is that it is bereft of any meaningful understanding of Islam.

You see, the thing is, Muslims love Jesus.

In fact, the Prophet Muhammad said: “The dearest person to me in friendship and in love, in this world and the next is Jesus, the son of Mary.”

It may come as a surprise to many to learn that Jesus is mentioned in the Quran over 100 times, while the Prophet Muhammad, by contrast, is mentioned just five times. Described as the best woman ever to have set foot on earth, there is a whole chapter in the Quran named “Mary” and she is the only woman mentioned by name in the holy book.

It’s not just that Muslims love Jesus – we believe him to be one of the greatest messengers of god. We believe in his miraculous birth. We believe that god gifted him with the ability to bring the dead back to life, heal the leper and bring sight back to the blind and, like Christians, we believe in his second coming back to this world.

What I see most Muslim say that I love Jesus— I believe Taurat, Zabur and Injil — but they hate to read it— they ask their children not to read Bible— they Probibit a non Muslim ti be elected etc

My suggestion to all Muslim around the world :
    — lets buy a Bible and read it— you will find some good verses to be practiced every day life

—lets send a Merry Chrustmas Card to Friends just one year to show our heart to them.

As long as Muslim hate to tell Merry Christmas there is no peace in their heart.
God say in Bible: Those who follow Jesus teaching, God will fill his heart with love, and bkessing.

On other word, those who reject to read Injil Allah will not fill his heart with love to Chrisrian, he still hate christian.

Quran say 5:82 : Christian is the great friend of Muslim,

This is my faith to Christian, Muslim should read Bible and send Christmas Card to friends.

    Have happy Holiday ❤️❤️❤️

    • My dear Somi, you are ‘out of date’. Now-a-days we send e-messages not Cards. (ok, I do NOT send Christmas messages nor Cards personally, but do wish ‘Merry Christmas and Happy New Year’ when I do meet Christian neighbors, but that is just my personal habit. If someone wishes to send messages around it is ok with me. Cards? waste of paper in my opinion, but again, that is just my personal habit).

Congratulation Rafiq, what is about your Imam or Khalifah? Does he urge Ahmadiyah to wish merry Christmas to Chrisrian friends? I never heart that.

    One more thing Rafiq.
Most Muslim say that I LOVE JESUS, but they hate to have a Bible in their home, if they love Allah and Jesus should follow Jesus teaching . Why is that!

For me they are a big liar, sorry to say that

    Have a blessed Holiday!🙏
