The government will bring 50 ulemas from various countries to attend a High Level Consultation of World Muslim Ulemas and Islamic Scholars in Bogor, West Java, which is scheduled to be held in May.

Presidential special envoy for inter-religion dialogue and partnership Din Syamsuddin said in the conference, Indonesia would promote an Islam that was moderate and tolerant to the world. He was speaking after he reported progress of the preparation of the meeting to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo at the Presidential Office in Jakarta on Thursday.

President Jokowi is scheduled to open the conference at Bogor Palace on May 1. Vice President Jusuf Kalla will attend the closing ceremony scheduled for May 3.
“This activity is the implementation of one of my mandates as a presidential envoy,” Din said as quoted by kompas.com.

Ahmadiyya Interfaith Programme

The Muslim Times has the best collection on interfaith tolerance and secularism

The former chairman of Indonesia’s second-largest Islamic organization, Muhammadiyah, said as an envoy, he was mandated to promote Al-Wasatiyyah (moderation) as the agenda of Muslims in Indonesia that was based on the principle of Islam as “rahmatan lil’alamin”, or “blessing for the whole world and its content”.

“This is Islam that takes a middle road with its characteristics: moderate, tolerant, open and many others,” said Din.

He said some of the ulemas to be invited were not from Muslim-majority countries, such as Canada, China, Japan, South Korea and the United States. Around 50 ulemas representing various organizations in Indonesia will also be invited to attend the conference.

“We will invite them all regardless of which groups they come from and what sect their teachings belong to,” said Din.

  1. Reblogged this on Progressive Islam. and commented:
    Our Question is?
How many times Goverment invite ulemas to promote tolerant Islam— in many countries— how many times Ahmadiyya has been promoting tolerant and lovely Islam in public speach?

Killing massive innocent people ( Muslim and non Muslim ) still occure till to day, since 9/11 2001. No day without killing innocent people.

Ahmadiyya call Muslim to join Ahmadiyya, the world will be peace again. Christian do the same. Mormon do the same. But do not work.

We need to find a new solution otherwise the world will be worse and worse.

    This is my thought
    All love ❤️

  2. One more thing— A religion cannot unite people for sure. Only Human Right can unite all people. Why?

Because Human Right is the core of God Law is written in Bible and Holy Quran.

The first prophet who promote Human Right was Jesus
And then Prophet Muhammad pbuh after 600 years Jedus died.

    HUMAN RIGHT LAW
And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?― men, women, and children, whose cry is: “Our Lord! rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from Thee one who will protect; and raise for us from Thee one who will help!” (75)

Prophet Muhammad’s charecter was a role model for mindkind to day. To protect the right minority ( oporessed )
and justice for all. His charecter has became the universal law in the world. Is it cool?

Unfortunately Saudi and Iran reject Human Right. No wonder Allah punish them with FEAR!

    All ❤️

    • I suppose Jesus was not the first prophet to teach human rights. All prophets taught human rights.

      • Rafiq—Yes. Jesus promoted the Human Right and then our Prophet Muhammad pbuh. No doubt at all.

OBEY HUMAN RIGHT IT MEANS OBEY GOD’S LAW.
We often heard that Government of Saudi Arabia, ISIS, Taliban, Hamas and extremist Muslim treat people unfairly against minorities group such as; Jews, Christian,Shian, Atheist, gay-lesbian etc.

Progressive Interpretation based on Al Quran, Government have to protect the right of individual or minority.
Allah commanded His prophets to protect the right of individuals or minority. Human Right is based on God’s laws.

        FROM BIBLE
Speak up for people who can not speak to themselves. Protect the rights of all who are helpless.speak for them and be a righteous judge.protect the right of the poor and needy. Proverb 31:8.

        FROM AL QURAN
“And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)? Men, women, and children, whose cry is: “Our Lord! rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help.QS. 4:75.

God judges favor of the oppressed and gives them their rights. He revealed His plans to Moses and let the people of Israel see His mighty deeds. God is merciful and loving.Psalm 103 ;6.

And do not incline towards the wrongdoers, lest the Fire should catch you, and you have no supporters other than Allah, then you should not be helped. QS 11;113.

Hopefully Pakistan leaders or government read this article so they know that Government HAS TO PROPTECT THE RIGHT OF AHMADIYYAH AND CHRISTIAN AS minority.

        All love ❤️

  3. Problem of intolerance being faced by the world today, can not be solved by man made solutions. The ONLY solution is to turn towards God. If we follow the word of God in letter and spirit, we will certainly learn to live in peace.
