The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association of Canada (AMYA), which is an auxiliary wing of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (www.alislam.org), is hosting an open house Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Public Library today to promote religious harmony, dispel misconceptions about Islam and educate people about the status that Islam gives to “Mother Mary” and women in general. The open house will focus primarily be on questions relating to women in Islam, honour killings, hijab, suppression of women, women rights, etc.The event titled ” Tribute to Mother Mary (An Islamic Perspective)”  and is open to the public.
