Jakarta: The conflict in the Middle East is escalating. This situation requires unity from Muslims worldwide.
"The message brought by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is to believe in the One and Only God," said the Caliph of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (peace be upon him), in a written statement on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

Mirza made this statement in his Friday sermon, March 6, 2026, at the Mubarak Mosque in Tilford, England. He emphasized that Islam teaches unity and brotherhood among the people.

"Worship Him, uphold His monotheism and strive to the fullest for it, fulfill the rights of His servants, and then live as one united community, brotherly to one another," said Mirza.

He highlighted the current state of Muslims, which does not demonstrate unity. Muslims, he said, must reflect on the current situation.
He also highlighted the role of global powers in the conflict in the Middle East. In this situation, he warned of potential scenarios that could exacerbate the conflict.

He emphasized that the impact of the conflict would also hit the economy. Therefore, Muslim unity is crucial.

"The believers are brothers. So make peace between your two brothers who are at war with each other, and fear Allah, that you may receive mercy," he said.
