KUNINGAN (MASS) – The Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation in Manislor Village, Jalaksana District, recently held an annual commemoration of Siratun Nabi, a celebration of love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), an effort to emulate his morals and spread the teachings of Islam, which are full of compassion, peace, and brotherhood. The event took place midweek, Wednesday (September 17, 2025).
This year, the Ahmadiyah Congregation in Manislor invited a number of interfaith and community leaders, including the Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Drs. KH. Dodo Syarif Hidayatullah, MA; the Chairman of the FKUB, Dr. Drs. HA Fenny Rahman, M.Pd; and the Chairman of the Kyai and Qori Forum, Kyai Oding Sajidin. The event itself was held at the An-Nur Mosque in Manislor, with 643 members in attendance.
The Siratun commemoration began with a recitation of the Quran, the recitation of the Nazm, and a communal prayer, followed by remarks from representatives of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Community and other prominent figures. The event then included a religious sermon emphasizing “Uswatun Hasanah” (Good Deeds) and its relevance in building a peaceful, just, and compassionate society.
In addition to religious lectures, the event also featured interactive discussion sessions involving interfaith leaders and the community. The discussions focused on the importance of tolerance, emulating the example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and efforts to maintain interfaith harmony in social life.
“We want to make Siratun Nabi a momentum to strengthen brotherhood and build bridges for healthy dialogue between all levels of society so that the values of rahmatan lil ‘alamin are truly realized in Manislor,” said Mln Agus Mulyana, a figure from the Ahmadiyah Congregation.

The presence of figures such as the Chairman of the Kuningan Regency MUI and the Chairman of the Kuningan Regency FKUB, Kyai Oding, seemed to emphasize that this event was not solely internal to the Ahmadiyya congregation but also a forum for communal gatherings. This presence was expected to expand social networks, diminish prejudice, and foster a more inclusive atmosphere of togetherness.
The Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) for Kuningan Regency, Drs. KH. Dodo Syarif Hidayatullah, MA, expressed his appreciation for the event. “I truly appreciate the commemoration of Siratun Nabi, the life journey of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), organized by the Jakarta Islamic Scholars Association (JAI) in Kuningan Regency. Thank God, the event went smoothly, well, and was very memorable because it showcased the Prophet Muhammad’s morals,” he said.
The Chairperson of the Kuningan Regency FKUB, Dr. Drs. HA Fenny Rahman, MPd, also expressed similar appreciation. “This event is extraordinary, truly demonstrating a spirit of joy and pride,” he said.
Kyai Oding, Chairman of the Kuningan Kyai and Qoriu Forum, echoed this sentiment. “I truly appreciate this event for fostering camaraderie and family ties. I hope this kind of event can be held annually to maintain strong ties,” he said. (eki)
