tirto.id – Ahmadiyah held a ‘Kick Off Tasyakuran 100 Years of the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Muslim Community ‘ by launching a number of programs to further introduce this organization to the community. Because, so far there have been many misunderstandings circulating in the community regarding various Ahmadiyah teachings.

Press Secretary of the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Congregation, Yandra Budiana, said that the Ahmadiyah extended family will be closer to the wider community through various programs, one of which is social service. This activity has basically been carried out for a long time, but this time it will be more massive.

“Yes, in these 100 years we will have the first target of 100 blood donor villages, later 100 eye donor villages,” said Yandra at the Kick Off event for the 100th Anniversary of Ahmadiyah in Central Jakarta, Friday (21/3/2025).

Yandra said that social movements will also be carried out in the form of Clean The City. He explained that this activity is not only about cleaning physically and the environment, but also eliminating thoughts about hatred.

“Then the second clean thing here is the mental attitude because the current problem faced by this nation and also its next generation is about mental health,” he said.

In addition, he said, Ahmadiyah will also continue the translation of the Qur’an into local languages. This year, the focus is on translating the Qur’an into the Madurese regional language.

He further stated that Ahmadiyah’s contribution to building the nation will be increasingly real. One of them, he said, is by helping to erode the mentality of corruption that has been a problem in Indonesia.

“Then the second is to encourage a solution to the problem of corrupt mentality is a simple lifestyle. In Ahmadiyah it is known as the tahrid jadid lifestyle. To live it must be simple, simple here is not only in terms of finances but also in lifestyle,” said Yandra.
