Ahmadiyya Muslims appoint new Imam of the Ahmadiyya Mosque in the Republic of the Marshall Islands

Jayapura, Jubi – The Marshallese Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Uliga, Marshall Islands has welcomed a new Imam this November, Imam Qasim Choudhary. Imam Qasim replaces Imam Sajid Iqbal, who has served as Ahmadiyah leader since 2017 in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
Imam Sajid has been appointed to serve in Austin, Texas. The Imams currently in Kiribati and the Federated States of Micronesia also started their duties in the region at the same time as Sajid, and are also being replaced and reassigned, as quoted by jubi.id from marshallislandsjournal.com, Monday (2/12/2024) .
