The breaking fast activity began with a cult with material presented by JAI Solo’s Spiritual Leader/Preacher, Muhaimin Khoirul Amin. Muhaimin explained the history of the founding of Ahmadiyah and material about fasting.
Muhaimin explained that the Ahmadiyah organization was founded by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad on March 23 1889. Initially the Ahmadiyah was founded with 40 members. Now Ahmadiyah exists in 223 countries.
In Indonesia, JAI will celebrate its centenary age next year. Meanwhile, JAI Solo Branch was founded on July 16 1994.
Muhaimin said the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Community adheres to the Koran to obey God’s commands, obey the Messenger of Allah, and obey the legitimate government. Ahmadiyah did not rebel against the government in each country.
“We have the motto Love for All Hatred for Non . JAI broadcasts Islam in peaceful ways. “Islam does not teach violence,” he explained.
According to him, Ahmadiyah has a program to translate the Koran into 100 world languages. There are already 72 world languages that have been completed. Including Javanese, but in Javanese only 10 juz have been translated.
“Later, the central Ahmadiyah will print it, and each country will translate it. Later it can be printed after going through the process of the manuscript board. “The aim of this program is for people to understand Islam from the Koran,” he explained.
The cult ended on time for breaking the fast. JAI Solo Branch members and invited guests mingled together to enjoy the dishes that were available, for example processed free-range chicken meat, chicken, soup and fruit ice.
The administrator of the Baluwarti Village Community Empowerment Institute (LPMK), Wisnu Indra Putra, said that members of the Solo Branch of JAI could live and blend in with the community. They are active in community life such as mutual cooperation.
One of the JAI Solo Branch activities is providing a field that can be used for volleyball, futsal and gymnastics for residents. The condition of land or green open space in Baluwarti Village is minimal. The field is beneficial for local residents. Also Read
