Ahmadiyah Indonesia together with the Youth Interfaith Forum on Sexuality (YiFos) are discussing articles in the Criminal Code (KUHP) which are considered problematic.

The discussion took place in the meeting room of the Al Hidayah Mosque, Jalan Ciputat Raya Number 18 Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, Friday, November 24 2023. The articles discussed included morality, gender and sexuality.

The House of Representatives passed the Draft Criminal Code (RKUHP) into the Criminal Code Law on December 6 2022. This law will take full effect in 2025. Before the law was implemented, YiFos and Ahmadiyah discussed articles that were considered still problematic . The results of the discussion will be submitted to the government as input for improvement.
