SUKABUMIUPDATE.com – The sealing of the madrasa owned by the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation ( JAI ) in Parakansalak Village RT 02/02 Parakansalak Village, Parakansalak District, Sukabumi Regency, Friday, 10 February 2023, is not the first time this congregation has experienced this in the context of criticism of religious activities.
The sealing was carried out because the madrasa that was being built did not yet have a building permit (IMB). In 2008, the JAI mosque which had been established since 1975 in the village was also damaged by fire.
Shortly after the sealing, the Public Relations of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) for JAI Sukabumi, Muharram (58 years), visited the JAI Parakansalak office . His arrival was to stay in touch and at the same time check on the condition of the members after the sealing of the madrasa which was originally going to be used as a place to study for the children of the JAI members .
Muharram confirmed that the management and members of JAI Parakansalak are currently in good health. However, he admitted that he was concerned and saddened by the sealing.
“In response to this sealing, of course you feel concerned and sad, both humanly and as a religious community. He (the place) will be used as an educational institution and the destruction of the mosque which has been used as a place of worship,” Muharram told sukabumiupdate.com at JAI Parakansalak ‘s place , Monday, 13 February 2023.

Regarding the non-issuance of the IMB, Muharram revealed that his party received a letter of warning from Sukabumi Regent Marwan Hamami on Friday, 3 February 2023. This warning letter, in short, contained directions for JAI Parakansalak to immediately seek an IMB permit within seven days after the letter was received.
Muharram questioned the sealing action which was carried out on 10 February 2023 or a week after receiving the warning letter. Because, he said, the process of making an IMB takes time.
“On Friday the letter was just issued (February 3), the next Friday has already been sealed. Saturday and Sunday (February 4 and 5) should be counted as holidays. Usually it’s not counted. We need to process it, just online and not directly. We just have permission. good intentions, according to the directions of the letter that we will take. But why are they sealed instead,” said Muharram.Editors :
