India: Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Kolkata organizes Peace Symposium titled “World Peace- The Critical Need of the Time”

Anando Sangbad- Saturday, a Peace Symposium on the topic “World Peace- The Critical Need of the Time” was organized by The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Kolkata at The Hotel Hindusthan International, Kolkata, in which hundreds of people belonging from diverse religion,faith,sects, Institutions participated.

The Program was presided by Mr. Shiraz Ahmad- Additional Executive Director of The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, India. The other dignitaries on the stage were- Mr. Tanweer Bani- President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Kolkata, Mr. Mohammad Muslehuddin Saadi- Missionary Incharge of the Ahamdiyya Muslim Community, Kolkata, Mr. Tariq Ahmed K.- President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Wing, India.

After Reciting the Verses of the Holy Quran, the guests were welcomed and a small introduction of Jama’at Ahmadiyya was presented.

The Ahmadi Muslims believe in the Promised Messiah of the age, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. (peace be on him) Every Ahmadi Muslim is an extremely loyal citizen and loves his country as he follows the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad(May peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that the love for one’s nation is an integral part of one’s faith.

Every Ahmadi Muslim believes that God Almighty has sent prophets and reformers for the spiritual development of mankind at all times and we make no distinction between them. We therefore believe in Jesus Christ, Shree Krishna, Gautam Buddha, Mahavira, Baba Nanak to be prophets of God.
