Saudi Arabia has pledged $50 million to UNRWA which has been hit by the withdrawal of all US funding
The announcement was made at a press conference in the Saudi capital
Saudi Arabia has pledged on Wednesday $50 million to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA), which has been hit by the withdrawal of all US funding, an official said.
The announcement was made at a press conference in the Saudi capital by the director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, Abdullah al-Rabeea.
Earlier this year, US President Donald Trump cut aid for Palestinians and announced it would no longer provide any funding to UNRWA, a week after cutting over $200 million in separate aid to Palestinians.
They were the latest in a series of controversial moves by the Trump administration that have thrilled Israel’s government but caused shock and dismay among international powers and Palestinians, making their dream of an independent state more distant than ever.

Saudi Arabia could (and should) of course easily make up the short-fall of US funding for UNWRA. How many bombs less should they drop for 50 million dollars? The war in Yemen probably costs that much every day.
Every Muslim should ask a question to himself; Why does Allah not listen to millions People of Palestine’s Dua ask for HELP to defeat Israel ? It has been 70 years .
Conversely Allah has been punishing Hamas Muslim severely most every day. Must be something wrong, Allah do not listen their prayer or dua.
I think as long as Hamas leaders and Islamic scholars are still spreading the hate teaching of Islam, Allah will not help Hamas Muslim to fight Israel. Allah love and help Israel who live in a tiny state is surrouded by Arab nations.
Allah say in Al Quran that Moses followers or Jews will be the world’ leader. The prophecy has been occurred now

sometimes trials are shorter and sometimes trials are longer. May be the challenge is Arab and Muslim Unity, which unfortunately does not exist. Could it be that Muslim Unity can only be achieved when the Muslim Ummah follows the Imam Mahdi (and its Khalifas) of the time?
Muslim should live in reality, Muslim will never be united by Islam any more since Prophet Muhammad died.
What Muslim can do the best is to respect and love each others—-and do good deeds to society as much as possible.
But our problem to day is the extremist Muslim still exist every where who do not accept other faith or belief.
So as long as we cannot eliminate the extremist Muslim we cannot live in peace! So we need to fight the extremist Muslim together!
