White Americans are the biggest terror threat in the United States, warns a study from the New America Foundation.
The Washington-based research group found that since 9/11, almost twice as many people have died in attacks by right-wing groups in America than have died in attacks by Muslim extremists.
The New America Foundation narrowly defined a terror attack in its report, restricting its study to attacks that were clearly ideological in nature.
Many mass shootings, like Sandy Hook or the Colorado movie theater shooting, both in 2012, were not included.
