USA: Ahmadi Muslims Reaching out – Imam Nasir of Baitul Jamay Mosque, Glen Ellyn meets DuPage County Dignitaries

Imam Shamshad A. Nasir of Baitul Jamay Mosque in Glen Ellyn had a meeting with Sheryl Markay, Deputy Chief of Staff DuPage County and Chad Shaffer, Policy and Program Administrator, DuPage County Board on Thursday, October 16th 2014 in Wheaton.

Nasir introduced himself and Ahmadiyya Muslim community which he belongs to. He told them about the efforts which Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is making to establish peace in the world and how the leader of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has addressed in the European Parliament and Capital Hill and has sent letters to various government leaders in good faith.

Later, Nasir presented a book namely “World Crisis and Pathway to Peace” written by Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Khalifa of Islam.

Lastly, Imam Shamshad offered his services for the betterment of education in the community in his capacity as a leader of the the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. Ms. Markay & mr. Shaffer welcomed the Imam and assured to support and cooperate on behalf of DuPage County Administration.
