America’s oldest Muslim conference, the 74th Jalsa Salana Annual Convention at Greater Richmond Convention Center

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — America’s oldest Muslim conference, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA’s 74th Jalsa Salana Annual Convention, will be held Saturday, June 29 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center.
The 74th Jalsa Salana Annual Convention will take place on Saturday, June 29, beginning 4 p.m. at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, located at 403 N. 3rd St.
According to a national spokesperson for the convention, this event will bring together leaders from a variety of faiths, ethnicities and circles to discuss building sustainable peace amidst current conflicts.
Guests at the 74th Jalsa Salana will feature:
- Levar Stoney, Mayor of Richmond
- Lashrecse Aird, Member of Virginia State Senate
- Josh Cole, Member of Virginia House of Delegates
- Marcia Price, Member of Virginia House of Delegates
- Sam Rasoul, Member of Virginia House of Delegates
- Steve Schneck, Chairman of U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom
- Josh Paul, former Director of U.S. State Dept. Bureau of Political-Military Affairs
- His Excellency Sekou Berthe, Ambassador of Mali to the United States
The convention will end with a reception for all guests that attend.
